 Yesterday, at the Game Developer Conference Awards, the "mini game" part of Valve's Orange Box, Portal was named Game of The Year, ahead of the many other highly successful games to come out in the year. Then on the same day on G4TV, Valve quickly confirms a sequel to Portal in a video interview. Check out the video interview with X-Play on G4 after the jump.
Last night's episode of the popular video game show X-Play on G4, the lead designer of Portal, Kimberly Swift, confirmed the hearts desire among gamers with announcing that there will be a Portal 2. It is unknown whether the game will be an addition to the previous game or part of another bundled pack similar to The Orange Box which includes Portal.
Although the interview with G4 did not contain any further information, we can expect Valve to show us a great encore just like they always do. This came when the GDC awards at the Game Developer's Conference named Portal the Game of the Year, smashed the big time games like Bioshock and Crysis.
