Welcome to the new and improved GamerDay, a simple source to the best games you should see.
Bungie, the developer of the Halo series, was set to announce something big tomorrow. However, that event seems to have ran into trouble.
Bungie first hinted in the latest installment of their popular podcast Bungie Day back on the 7th of July about something new, something new like a new title. This coming from the developer of the ever popular Xbox series Halo. Naturally something new and possably different would come as a shock to a nearly one title stuido.
Then a count-down clock appeared on the bungie website, in the start of the E3 hype with a end time of Wednesday, July 15 at around 10am. Under maintaince, the Bungie website continued statistics processing of it's games.
However, at 7PM of this day a message appeared on the main page where the clock had been. It reads:
From: Harold Ryan Send: Tuesday, July 15, 2008 7:00 PM Subject: E3 Announce
For the last several months, we've been building toward a reveal of something exciting that Bungie is working on. We were looking forward to sharing that with our fan community during the week of E3. However, those plans were just changed by our publisher.
We realize that many of our fans are disappointed by this turn of events; members of the Bungie team share that disappointment.
When the right time comes, we look forward to sharing this exciting announcement with you. Until then, we appreciate your continued support and patience.
Harold Ryan President Bungie LLC
Bungie's plans for surprising the entire video gaming world seems to have been shattered by an unknown publisher's intervention. If it's a delay, why the hard-filled message? Whats a few more days? Unless it was longer, but what could be that unexpected this at this time, on the eve of the announcement? If the publisher backed out for some rediculous reason, any publisher in the world would love to publish a game from the legendary makers of Halo.
Whatever seems to have upsetted their grand scheme will probably be all over the video game news, across the internet and televison. Stay tuned for updates!
